Casablanca and Rabat

Casablanca and Rabat, Morocco – 2018. Our time in Casablanca was short. We drove from the airport, through the center of the city to the Atlantic coast where we visited the Hassan II Mosque which is a beautiful building and has a minaret which is the tallest in the world at 240 metres (690ft). We then drove to Rabat and checked out the Mohammed V Mausoleum and Hassan Tower a 12th-century minaret before heading for our accommodations which was the Riad Kalaa a lovely 11 room traditional hotel in the Rabat medina.
